Avenga is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Bangalore, India to join our team. Our customer – an American multinational company serving the combined industries of health information technologies and clinical research.
In this role, you will work on the company’s Developer Platform, playing a key role in helping developers discover and use self-service components, workflows, paved paths, catalogs, services, and actions.
What you bring along:
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience;
- Commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript;
- 1 + years of experience with one of the programming languages: Go, Python, Java, or .NET;
- Knowledge of Yarm;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP;
- Demonstrable scripting experience with languages like Groovy, Shell, Python, and JavaScript for automating tasks, generating reports, and creating tools;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- English – Upper-intermediate or higher.
This is your mission:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Node.js and TypeScript;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions;
- Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards;
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions;
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development.
