Senior Data Engineer

What you bring along:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
• Understanding the data modelling principles and data warehouse basics;
• Deep experience in SQL;
• Experience in Airflow and Python programming (1-2 years);
• Knowledge of Data Engineering best practices in Data Quality, Observability, etc.;
• Strong analytical and quantitative approach to problems;
• Comfortable in dynamic and changing environment;
• Strong inclination to take responsibility for your work;
• Eagerness and hunger to learn – on the job learning;
• Good communication skills since the candidate needs to clarify the requitements with businesspeople
• English – at least an Upper-Intermediate solid.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems;
• Snowflake expertise is a plus, not a must. Data manipulation happens in Snowflake;
• AWS technologies like Redshift are a plus, not a must.

This is your mission:

• Writing SQL as there is need to transform data into the platform;
• Building Airflow pipelines via Python;
• Build and maintain a cutting-edge data platform using technologies such as Snowflake,  Python, and AWS services;
• Build and optimize data pipelines, architecture, and data sets supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management;
• Identify opportunities for internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and infrastructure scalability;
• Monitor the health and performance of queries;
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and other stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide data solutions, and effectively communicate insights or findings derived from Data
