1 Million for pediatric rehabilitation in Ukraine

In the face of the ongoing challenges posed by the full-scale war in Ukraine, Avenga’s commitment to corporate responsibility has been vital in supporting ongoing rehabilitation efforts. Thousands of Ukrainian children affected by the conflict require comprehensive care, and Avenga has stepped in by contributing 1 million hryvnias to the UNBROKEN KIDS Rehabilitation Center.

This initiative, supported by Avenga, focuses on providing advanced equipment for pediatric rehabilitation at the UNBROKEN KIDS center, located at the St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital — an important division of the First Medical Association.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi stressed the importance of the situation, saying, “Thousands of children have suffered from the war, and they need rehabilitation. To ensure that children with war-related injuries don’t have to seek treatment abroad but receive everything they need in Ukraine, we have to purchase rehabilitation equipment. Pediatric prosthetics and rehabilitation are challenging, especially considering that children grow, requiring prosthetic adjustments and adaptations each year.”

Avenga went beyond the financial contribution: our team visited the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center, witnessing firsthand the advanced and efficient treatment helping to restore health and bring hope back to young lives.
