Avenga’s AI Engineering Shortlisted in Four Categories at the 2026 GSA Awards

Avenga is proud to announce that we have been named a finalist in four categories at the 2026 Global Sourcing Association (GSA) Awards, recognizing our work at the forefront of AI-native engineering and our commitment to delivering technology that creates measurable business and societal impact.

This year, Avenga has been shortlisted for:

• IT Services Program of the Year — acknowledging technology companies able to deliver both initial and ongoing business value to the client (and the partner), incorporating both best practice and continuous service innovation.
• AI/Automation Program of the Year — celebrating programs using AI and / or automation technologies to deliver efficiencies and enhance business outcomes.
• Technology Innovator of the Year — defining a technology company’s ability to deliver both initial and ongoing business value to clients/partners, incorporating both best practice and continuous innovation.
• Technology Champion of the Year — identifying the architects of modern business landscape, who are not defined simply by a successful rollout, but by their relentless pursuit of digital excellence and their ability to bridge the gap between complex technology and tangible business outcomes.

These four nominations recognize FutureLap, an AI-powered motorsport intelligence platform developed by Avenga in partnership with More Than Equal. The project demonstrates what AI-native engineering can achieve when advanced technology is designed around a real-world challenge.

For decades, identifying exceptional young racing talent has relied on fragmented data, regional scouting networks, and subjective assessments. FutureLap changes that. Powered by AI and built specifically for early-stage motorsport, the platform brings together validated, official race results and contextual data across international karting and Formula 4 into a single, structured dataset, creating a comprehensive view of driver performance.

The result is a platform that enables racing teams, manufacturers, national federations, and driver development programs to make faster, more objective, data-driven decisions. By analyzing complete driver journeys, benchmarking performance globally, and evaluating results in the context of championships, teams, and equipment, FutureLap uncovers insights that would be difficult to generate manually.

Just as importantly, FutureLap supports a broader mission. By placing measurable performance at the center of talent identification, the platform helps create a more objective and transparent approach to identifying emerging talent, helping ensure promising drivers are recognized based on performance regardless of geography, background, or gender.

We are equally delighted that Liselott Lading has been shortlisted for the Technology Champion of the Year. Her leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to innovation have been instrumental in bringing FutureLap to life and demonstrating how AI can deliver lasting value for both organizations and society.
