Sustainability: Avenga ESG Leadership and Governance
Thinking of the planet, acting for the people.
Our Values
Brighter Minds
We’re thinkers, learners, and problem-solvers. Our minds stay sharp because we’re constantly evolving—individually and together. We bring clarity to complexity and keep raising the bar, project by project.
Bigger Hearts
We lead with empathy, listen with intention, and act with integrity. People matter to us—clients, colleagues, and communities. Strong relationships are the foundation of everything we build, and we take pride in being a force for good.
Bolder Ideas
Boldness begins with you. We believe in taking initiative, thinking for ourselves, and leading from where we stand. Bolder ideas come when we have the courage to challenge assumptions, take responsibility, and push beyond the obvious—always in pursuit of better outcomes.

Environmental Responsibility
We act responsibly toward the environment and support the communities in which we operate. Our journey toward environmental responsibility began in 2022, when we published our first non-financial report.
Our Sustainable Activities
Renewable Energy
Our aim is to obtain energy from purely sustainable sources in the near future. We are actively investing in solar and wind power to help ensure a sustainable energy future.
Water Consumption and Waste Management
We continuously strive to minimize water consumption and implement efficient waste management practices, ensuring that waste is properly recycled or repurposed to reduce our environmental impact.
Data Storages
Our data storage principles prioritize energy-efficient technologies by leveraging cloud-based solutions that reduce energy consumption, enhance data security, and minimize our overall environmental impact.
Business Trips
To minimize our carbon footprint, we are reducing business travel by relying more on virtual meetings and adopting sustainable travel practices for essential trips, including the use of eco-friendly transportation options.
Tracking Suppliers’ Responsibility
We are not indifferent to the carbon footprint of our suppliers, which is why we are interested in their approach to sustainability. We find this out using our ESG questionnaire.
Social Responsibility
We view social responsibility as a core part of our identity, a competitive advantage, and—most importantly—a driving force behind every innovation. Our ambition is to be a responsible and transparent company that upholds the highest ethical standards. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, whether as an employer or in our role as a business partner to the broader community.
Diversity at Our Core
At Avenga, we value diversity as a key strength. Our workplace culture is built on respecting individual differences, empowering employees to be themselves and freely express their opinions. We focus on the following areas of diversity:
- Supporting parents at work and employees returning from parental leave.
- Promoting employee work-life balance.
- Advancing women in leadership roles.
- Encouraging age diversity by welcoming multiple generations—students, trainees, and employees aged 50+.
- Extending the active working life by supporting employees at different life stages, including flexibility and mobility for those aged 50 and above.
- Facilitating the entry and inclusion of young people into the labor market.
- Recruiting expatriate employees across countries and continents.

Avenga Code of Conduct
Democracy, the rule of law, and human rights are interconnected and mutually reinforcing pillars of human dignity. Respect for international law and justice forms the foundation of human rights protection. At Avenga, safeguarding human rights is integral to all our activities. Our inclusive approach to fair and equal treatment of all employees is enshrined in our Code of Ethics, which prohibits discrimination and promotes equal opportunities for everyone.
Our Code of Conduct reflects our core values and commitment to human and labor rights throughout the supply chain, environmental responsibility, and the fight against corruption.
Responsible Purchasing
The effective management of supplier relationships, including their screening and the establishment of long-term cooperation, is governed by our Group policy.
This policy clearly defines the specific responsibilities of our employees involved in tenders, negotiations with suppliers, and the ordering of goods and services. Adherence to these rules ensures transparency and accountability throughout the supplier selection process, while also enabling a thorough assessment of risks related to supplier engagement.
Supplier screening is conducted in accordance with third-party risk management protocols to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and market standards. This includes the prevention of money laundering and fraud, counter-terrorist financing measures, cybersecurity requirements, and the evaluation of suppliers’ financial stability.
We are always striving to improve our ESG practices.
