Petyo Dimitrov

Petyo Dimitrov is Director of Data and AI at Avenga with 20 years of experience as a software engineer, architect and manager on IT projects. During this time he has designed and delivered enterprise systems, integrations, SOA and microservice architectures, data-driven and AI-powered solutions for clients like IBM, Deutsche Telekom, Volkswagen, banks, startups and others. Over the past 2 years, Petyo has taken on strategic responsibility for Avenga’s Data and AI service offering, focusing on winning key accounts as part of the pre-sales process, developing new offerings and providing architectural guidance and technical leadership on strategic accounts.

Petyo holds a Ph.D. in Computer Systems and enjoys sharing and gaining knowledge at conferences and community events.
