Developed by More Than Equal with technology partner Avenga, the platform transforms official race data into structured performance insight across male and female driver categories
LONDON, March 24, 2026: >= More Than Equal today announces the launch of FutureLap, a new data platform designed to modernise how emerging motorsport talent is identified, compared and understood.
Developed in collaboration with global technology partner Avenga, FutureLap aggregates and standardises verified official race data from karting and junior single-seater championships, creating a unified framework for analysing driver performance across series, countries and competitive contexts. The platform includes performance data from both male and female drivers, reflecting the full competitive landscape of early-stage motorsport.
While elite motorsport increasingly relies on data and sophisticated analytics, early-stage competition has remained fragmented, with limited ability to compare results consistently across championships. FutureLap addresses this challenge by transforming verified race results into structured, comparable performance intelligence. The platform introduces weighted driver rankings and analytics dashboards designed to reveal progression patterns, performance consistency and competitive context beyond headline results.
Tom Stanton, CEO of More Than Equal, said: “Motorsport is defined by marginal gains and decisive early calls. Yet when it comes to emerging talent, the data landscape has remained fragmented. FutureLap brings structure and clarity to that environment. The platform reflects the full competitive field, incorporating both male and female driver data to create a more complete and objective picture of early-stage performance.
“We are not replacing expertise. We are strengthening it. By standardising official race data across championships, we are creating a clearer view of potential at the stages where careers are shaped.”
FutureLap relies exclusively on verified official race results. No self-uploaded data or user-generated submissions are included in its ranking algorithms or analytics systems. This approach ensures accuracy, consistency and integrity across the platform.
Clay Van Doren, CEO of Avenga, said: “In elite motorsport, millions are spent on data and analytics. But at the early stages, where careers are made or missed, the sport has been flying blind. Results are scattered across championships with no common framework to compare like with like. FutureLap changes that. We used AI to build a single, trusted view of emerging talent, grounded in verified race data rather than reputation or geography. This isn’t just better analytics; it’s the infrastructure the sport has been missing.”
