Avenga is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Our Client is a leading provider of working capital finance. They offer receivables finance, trade finance, and related services on a global scale, serving small to medium sized enterprises, up through large corporates. You will be a part of our professional DevOps Engineering team and be engaged in the process of its growth and development.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the project’s cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other Azure services.
What you bring along:
- Minimum five years of work experience in hands-on technical roles;
- Deep technical expertise with information security best practices, frameworks, and solutions;
- Experience in both administering and developing in Azure, with strong skills in at least one of these areas;
- Microsoft Certification: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400);
- Proficiency with Bicep, ARM template, YAML, or other IaC development;
- Solid knowledge of PowerShell, scripting languages, and/or other task automation;
- Strong familiarity with SDLC, Git, and CI/CD concepts;
- Experience with networking design and security;
- English – Upper-intermediate or higher.
Nice to have:
- Relevant education or degrees;
- Application development experience.
This is your mission:
- Administer and maintain Azure cloud systems and security;
- Oversee and support DevOps pipelines using IaC (Bicep) and Git;
- Create and integrate enhancements to our Client’s Azure infrastructure while following established SDLC procedures;
- Architect improvements to infrastructure resiliency, building out a multi-region solution to improve RTO and RPO;
- Lay the foundation for future development and application scalability;
- Assist with the management of Azure IAM/RBAC access control operations;
- Take part in the implementation and management of Azure Monitor systems and alerts;
- Work with technical resources to improve information security posture;
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement and optimize systems on the Azure infrastructure;
- Optimize Azure costs, balancing performance, and other requirements;
- Assist R&D with service deployments;
- Work with Raistone IT (RIT) in the implementation of internal projects and goals;
- Assist with the implementation of RIT cloud systems and migrations.
