Muhammad Adib who joined Avenga in September 2020, has already been praised for his outstanding performance. Let’s check out what his secret of keeping up the momentum is.

What is your role at Avenga?

I’m working as a Solution Lifecycle Manager for a client-based project. I am responsible for the delivery of IT services based on the IT Service Management (ITSM) process.

What motivates you most of all?

Well, motivation is always a combo. There are several factors that go together and keep me going as well. Firstly, it’s good to support from the teammates, then there is flexibility to perform my tasks, and finally, and probably the most importantly – the people who believe in me.

What inspires you to do your best at work or at home?

It might sound weird, but I strongly believe in the concept of happiness. A happy employee produces the best results. So, I need to be happy. What makes me happy? My family and when they are happy. It makes me happy to see them smile and be well-off. Moreover, I am happy to work where my passion lies while providing for my family – it gives me great inspiration.

Seven questions to Muhammad Adib

Who is your role model?

My father! I have seen him working hard in the IT field, though not in purely technical and management areas. He is a retired teacher, specializing in IT subject. When I was a small kid, I used to watch him working in front of a bulky computer screen which was very rare back then. I find my father very intelligent as not many people could pursue their education at that time, especially in IT which was hardly popular then.

How do you handle stress?

Usually, after an intense work day or sometimes on a weekend, I spend about an hour playing online games to release stress or just to have fun. I usually play PUBG and FIFA Online with my friends. During the pandemic, this was also another chance to have social interaction with my friend, a sort of therapeutic effect.

Which superhero would you like to be? Why?

I would go with Hawkeye from Marvel Cinematic Universe. That’s because the very first thing that comes to my mind is family. Remember in ‘Avengers: End Game’, Hawkeye who would do anything to get his family back. He also lost Romanoff during the battle but, after all, the family matters the most. No matter who we are, what we did in the past, or are doing now, once we are on the battlefield, we fight hard!

“Doesn’t matter what you did, or what you were. If you go out there, you fight, and you fight to kill.”
Hawkeye, ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

Is there anything you would like to say to your fellow teammates/anyone?

Keep on working hard, go after your dream, and follow your passion. Work your strengths – do something you’re good at to foster self-confidence, then go about a tougher task. But remember to have room for adventure and excitement in your life to stay healthy and sane. Your health is the best gift you can give yourself.
