Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Avenga is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. Our customer – an American multinational company serving the combined industries of health information technologies and clinical research. The project is aimed at providing design and implementation of a DevOps Pipeline that is building a standard and repeatable process of CI/CD implementation for multiple projects- individual product teams.The main technology driving CI/CD pipelines will be GitLab's embedded engine. Additional plugins, external tools, and API integrations will also be used specifically for the project technology stack.
What you bring along:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience working as a DevOps, Build & Release Engineer;
- Proficient in AWS stack (EC2, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, R53, CloudFront, ECR, S3);
- Good at Bash/Python;
- Understanding of networking tools;
- Knowledge of Docker;
- Skilled in using Terraform and/or CloudFormation;
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins;
- Experience with Prometheus;
- Familiar with Git;
- Confident in the deployment and configuration of Linux;
- Ability to lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through meetings and presentations;
- English – Upper-intermediate or higher.
Nice to have:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar;
- Experience with any other Cloud providers (e.g., Azure, GCP).
This is your mission:
- Create new and update existing CI/CD pipelines (based on Gitlab CI);
- Work closely with development teams, consult them, control implementation;
- Identify and plan improvements to the implementation;
- Implement POCs;
- Discuss implementation details with the Client;
- Manage infrastructure using IaaC (Terraform).
