Senior Golang Engineer

Project description:  Here at Avenga we are looking for a Golang Software Engineer to contribute to an amazing platform that is one of the world’s largest global networks for on-demand production of customized items e.g. t-shirts, wall art, mugs, books, hoodies, and cards.  The client supports a new wave of e-commerce entrepreneurs and a global shift towards local and more sustainable production.

Local production on-demand will give a chance to lower the costs, and provide shorter and faster delivery reducing carbon emissions. The system handles every step of the process starting from a placed order and finishing with the delivery to the end customer. This will help the creators to spend their time and energy on the creation process.

• 4+ years of work experience with Golang;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Good knowledge of DB (PostgreSQL, Elastic Search);
• Confidence in using Elasticsearch;
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ.

• Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers at a massive scale;
• Collaborate closely with other engineers as a valuable member of a cross-functional team;
• Share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices;
• Design, develop, and deploy backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability;
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, including taking part in an on-call rotation.

• Experience with ELK, Jaeger, Prometheus & Grafana;
• Experience with PHP.
