Data Engineer

The project focuses on delivering a range of insights with the Palantir foundry. Foundry is an advanced data platform based on Apache Spark (using Python) and Elasticsearch. The team is quite small at the moment and is at the beginning of our adventure with the foundry, but will grow gradually as we invest more in the platform.

• Development, construction, testing and maintenance of architectures (such as databases and large-scale processing systems)
• Ensuring that the developed architecture meets the business requirements of our clients
• Searching for data acquisition
• Development of data set processes for data modeling, mining and production,
• Using different languages and tools (e.g. scripting languages) to link systems together
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, performance and quality

• Over 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
• Analytical and critical thinking as well as creative problem solving
• Understanding the project from a business perspective at an advanced level
• Experience in understanding, importing, cleaning and manipulating data
• Experience in Spark or relevant cloud services such as Databricks, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory or AWS EMR
• Experience with stream processing and message queues (such as Kafka or RabbitMQ)
