Avenga is looking for a highly skilled Python Engineer to join our American project. The project is a Real estate management platform. Its goal is to provide operators with a simple way to recover utility costs, increase the value of their investment, and build a community around conservation.
As a Senior Python Engineer, you will take part in the development of a new product from scratch and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Python applications and services.
What you bring along:
- 5+ years of experience in Python (developing, testing, and maintaining applications);
- Expertise in Django;
- Knowledge of Pandas;
- Solid experience with MSSQL and SQLite or similar relational database systems;
- Proficiency in pytest for unit and regression testing;
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, even for tasks that may not be fully specified;
- English – upper intermediate or higher.
This is your mission:
- Develop, maintain, and improve our software applications with a focus on efficiency and scalability;
- Write, manage, and execute unit and regression tests using pytest to ensure robustness and reliability of the software;
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs in the codebase;
- Make existing code lint-compliant to enhance code quality and maintainability;
- Refactor code to improve readability, performance, and adherence to best practices;
- Ensure all contributed code is well-documented, clean, and complies with PEP standards;
- Follow software design and implementation directives, while also being comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
