Avenga is looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our team for our American project. The client is a company that specializes in the production and servicing of elevators and escalators.

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment of Salesforce updates, managing release schedules, and coordinating with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Vacancy level: Senior

Team composition: Release Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, QA/QC Lead, Senior Salesforce Engineer, Salesforce Administrators

Cooperation type: Full-time

Technology stack: Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Azure

What you bring along:

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce;
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components);
  • Proven Salesforce engineering experience with a focus on release management and DevOps (Azure);
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools;
  • Understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and sharing mechanisms;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • English – Upper-intermediate.

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with Field Service Lightning (FSL);
  • Experience with Managed Packages;
  • Salesforce certifications.

This is your mission: 

  • Develop and manage release schedules, ensuring timely and successful deployments of Salesforce enhancements and updates;
  • Ensure alignment of release activities with overall project goals and timelines;
  • Identify potential risks associated with releases and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of release processes, procedures, and configurations;
  • Handle platform-related tasks including bug-fixing, user management, investigations, and enhancements;
  • Manage deployments, and support DevOps processes, particularly in Azure;
  • Customize the platform to meet specific organizational needs, including configuring and setting up data models such as data extensions, shared data extensions, and Contact models;
  • Communicate release plans, status updates, and post-release summaries to stakeholders and management.
