    Project description: Avenga is seeking a result-driven Data Quality Engineer who will join our project in the sphere of logistics. The project is a cloud-based warehouse management system (WMS) solution with a user-friendly interface built to meet the unique needs of the warehousing community.

     

  • As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be a member of an agile team environment and you will learn, practice, and drive the quality best practices we use that help make our software the industry leader. Coordination, planning, execution, automation scripting, and driving root cause and corrective actions are only a few of the many activities your work will entail.

  • What you bring along:

    • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data;
    • Knowledge of SQL and Python;
    • Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation;
    • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, and SAS to be used for data set analysis;
    • Experience with data visualization software like Tableau or QuickSight.
  • This is your mission:

    • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion;
    • Providing quality assurance of imported data and championing initiatives for data integrity and normalization;
    • Generating reports from single or multiple systems and conducting analysis;
    • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, data sets, security, and metadata;
    • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems;
    • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports;
    • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Nice to have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a STEM field;
    • The ability to work effectively independently and/or on a team;
    • The ability to coordinate across multiple teams and/or groups;
    • Effective leadership, assertiveness, and analytical skills;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Strong attention to detail;
    • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
